Privacy Policy

How UserMindow collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information.
Effective date: 20 July 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, organisation details, service requirements, messages, billing and transaction references, files you choose to provide, and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and website activity. Payment card, bank, UPI, and authentication details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, provide and support services, process and reconcile payments, deliver work, maintain records, prevent fraud and misuse, improve our website, send essential service communications, and comply with legal and tax obligations. Promotional messages are sent only where permitted, and you may opt out at any time.

3. Legal basis and consent

We process information where necessary to take steps at your request, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate business and security interests, or based on your consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Sharing of information

We may share only the information needed with service providers that support hosting, communications, analytics, accounting, project delivery, and payment processing; with professional advisers; or with authorities when required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information. Providers process information under their own policies and contractual or legal safeguards.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another disclosed payment provider. The provider may collect payment and device information directly to authorise the transaction, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Please review the provider's privacy terms at checkout.

6. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, active customer support, contractual limitation periods, and legal, accounting, or tax requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

7. Cookies and links

We may use essential storage and limited analytics technologies to operate and understand the website. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser where available. Our website may link to third-party sites whose privacy practices we do not control.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask for deletion where retention is no longer required, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children

Our services are offered to organisations and adults. A parent, guardian, school, or other authorised institution must approve the submission of a child's personal information. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information about children.

10. Contact and updates

For a privacy request or grievance, email admin@usermindow.com. We aim to acknowledge privacy grievances within 2 business days. We may update this policy and will publish the revised effective date on this page.
